Task Statuses
Manage and customize task statuses used throughout your workspace.
Task Statuses
The Task Statuses module allows you to manage the workflow stages your tasks can be in.
These statuses help your team easily track progress, organize work, and filter tasks based on their current state.
You can access it from:
Settings → Workspace → Task Statuses

This section displays all available task statuses in your workspace.
Each status includes:
- Name – The name of the status (e.g., Backlog, Todo, In Progress)
- Type – Standard or Custom
- Status – Active or Inactive
- Actions – Edit the status
Standard statuses are preconfigured, while custom statuses can be added by your team.

Status Types
Standard
Built-in statuses that support common workflows, such as:
- Backlog
- Todo
- In Progress
- Done
- Cancelled
Custom
User-created statuses for specialized workflows.
Best Practices
- Keep statuses simple and easy to understand.
- Use consistent colors so team members can visually recognize task states.
- Avoid creating too many statuses—too much complexity can slow down workflow clarity.
- Periodically review statuses to ensure they still match your team’s task workflows.
